Pouleyn NV expands with acquisition of GECO Windows and Doors

Vichte, 28 November 2024 – Pouleyn NV, an established name in high-quality wooden windows, doors and gates for decades, is proud to announce the acquisition of Belgian company GECO Ramen en Deuren. With this strategic acquisition, Pouleyn is expanding its range to include PVC and aluminium windows and doors, enabling us to respond even better to the wishes of a diverse customer base.

POULEYN continues to expand

Following the successful acquisition of Dutch company DJS Hekwerken en Toegangstechniek in October 2023, Groep Pouleyn has once again chosen a partner that values quality and customer service as highly as it does. The integration of DJS Hekwerken is proceeding entirely as planned and has fully met our expectations. This strengthens our conviction that the collaboration with GECO will represent a new step forward in our mission to offer exclusive residential solutions.

Geco, located in Anzegem, was founded in 1995 by Thierry Gernay and has grown in almost 30 years to become one of the leading companies in the field of PVC and aluminium joinery. GECO has distinguished itself among its more discerning clientele, particularly with its lacquered synthetic resin. A few years ago, CEO Michel Roelandt also acquired a stake in the company.

"With the arrival of GECO, we are not only strengthening our product range, but also our position in the market. While Pouleyn continues to focus on refined wooden joinery (in addition to wooden and aluminium gates), GECO adds high-quality PVC and aluminium work to this. This addition enables us to offer even more customers a suitable solution, always with an eye for craftsmanship and functionality."

To ensure continuity, Michel Roelandt will remain on board as both CEO and co-shareholder of GECO.

We wish all parties involved every success and look forward to a fruitful collaboration. Together, we will continue to build a future in which aesthetics, quality and service are central.
