  • Afrormosia – class I wood
    Pouleyn manufactures all its farmhouse doors from Afrormosia, one of the finest hardwoods in the world. This tropical wood species from West and Central Africa is known for its hard core, warm colour and unique flamed structure. The result: a door that will last for generations and exudes timeless class.
     
  • Hydro-oil treatment
    Over the years, Pouleyn has developed its own hydro-oil, specially tailored to Afrormosia. This treatment makes the wood water-repellent, ensures even natural ageing and minimises shrinkage and swelling. This protects your farmhouse door for years to come and preserves its elegant appearance.
     
  • Ecological craftsmanship
    We purchase our wood directly from the logger, without any middlemen. This means we have control over the quality and a smaller ecological footprint. By choosing Pouleyn, you are not only choosing a sustainable farmhouse door, but also environmentally conscious craftsmanship.
AUTOMATION

Pouleyn farmhouse doors feature optimal automation. For example, the automation can be unlocked, which is very unusual, and there is the option of a pedestrian opening. The hinges on Pouleyn doors are made of stainless steel or metallised and lacquered steel to prevent rust.

In order to guarantee an excellent life-cycle, Pouleyn subjects its gates to a cycle test. This means we stand behind our product 100%, and you can enjoy a ten-year warranty. Accessories and motorisation come with a two-year warranty.
